On Thursday, May 20th at 4:00 p.m. Ron filed to be a candidate for State Senate District 42 at the Secretary of State’s office in St. Paul!

At all levels of government today, we are facing unprecedented problems that demand bipartisan cooperation spearheaded by open-minded, thoughtful, and consensus-building leaders. It is not enough to simply be against everything that the opposition party believes in or tries to accomplish. Eden Prairie and Minnetonka deserve a Senator who will go to St. Paul to represent what the majority of the 42nd District residents believe in and who will actually accomplish legislation that will benefit the lives of people living in our community.

With three decades of working as an educator in the Eden Prairie School District and being elected four times to the Eden Prairie City Council, I have a wealth of knowledge about how the political system can and should work for the greater good. I’ve lived in Eden Prairie for most of the last 31 years, raised a family of four children who have all graduated from the Eden Prairie public school system, and become deeply rooted in the concerns, hopes, and values of the people who live within the 42nd Senate District.
