To all of my supporters and friends:

Thank you so much for an incredible effort in running a quality campaign! Although personally disappointed, I am even more so saddened that the causes and concerns of the many groups and organizations that supported me will now not get to have their positions represented. But American democracy nonetheless worked again and I am very thankful to have been a part of this election process. Kathie and I met many new friends, we learned what an amazing group of politically active people there are at the grassroots level of the Democratic Party, and we will take into our future the knowledge that we participated in an extremely well-run campaign. Special thanks to Marylu Belisle and Tim Beutell for an awesome job running the campaign and to the hundreds of volunteers and contributors who made the effort possible and effective in achieving over 15,000 votes across the 42nd Senate District. Please continue to stay politically involved and definitely stay in touch!
